Solitary day on Saddleback

I got started early – arrived at the Maple Springs trailhead about 7am.  Never saw another person, except a maintenance truck headed to and from the radio towers.  Actually on the way down there was a collection of firefighters…hmm…just checked Inciweb and didn’t see anything.  I waved to them but they did not indicate any problem or ask me to stop.

Great views, clear day.  3hrs round trip – glad I got started early because it was in the 80’s by the end of it.
