I attempted this hike late summer and bailed due to the biting flies. I was so happy to hike this on 11/10, Veteran’s Day to honor those who served.  No biting flies & peaceful trail. Met a wonderful lady and her son with their 2 dogs at the peak. They made being at the top much better.
