Sometimes it pays to ignore the forecast

Early this morning, the forecast for Cuyamaca was cloudy with potentially some rain. What we got was a sunny day, not super warm I admit but with several layers, a pair of gloves and a hat, it was fine. The view at the top was awesome. We had such a nice day we decided to do a second hike, ie “the stonewall peak via cold stream and stonewall creek loop”. The last mile of this one is not great as it is parallel to the road but it was still a good hike.
