Spreading holiday cheer!

My 6 Pack of Peaks buddy, Amy, and I met up with a group of gals from Girl Take A Hike at 6am to start our ascent! All of us were dressed festively in our Christmas best. It was still pitch black out when we began, so it was a little terrifying. Also a wee bit chilly. Only about half of the group had headlamps so we all made sure to huddle together. After climbing both sections of the trail with the railing in the dark, the sun began to peek its head up and we were at the peak in about an hour & 15mins! Camelback Santa and his trusty elf were setting up a Christmas tree as we arrived at the top! Took some group shots with the big guy and then headed back down!
