Spring hike up Mt Saint Helena

Happy we did this hike in the spring! The first mile are switchbacks under the trees, and the remaining 4 miles to the peak are an exposed fire road trail. It was a nice sunny today today in the 70s with a breeze, but anytime in the summer this would be a tough slog in the heat. Bring bug spray, I read that beforehand and it came in handy. We enjoyed passing a few groups of climbers, and we may come back to try that some time!!
