Spur of the moment hike

I woke up at 430 in the morning, I saw a text on my phone that the hike I was going to do was canceled. I thought do I want to go back to bed or should I do another peak from the list, so I looked up some info on Hot Springs Mountain and I decided I must do this hike today. I’m glad I did, it was perfect hiking weather and was a great hike, I also got to meet some other hikers on the trail doing the challenge. So a canceled hike turned into a positive hiking adventure
