Stairway To Helen Lake

There’s a lady who’s sure …

The trail is in good condition, until you reach the volcanic rock fields, where u have to concentrate to keep on the trail. After u reach the snow line, there is no trail and one just follows in the footsteps of others before whilst keeping the ridgeline near Helen Lake as a goal. The walk through the forests and by horse camp was beautiful. The views of the volcanic landscape was something to remember. And Helen Lake itself was completely snow covered. But the weather cooperated, and we could see the views from Helen Lake in between mists. The summit, however, was hidden in the clouds.
