Stairway to Jacinto

What a beautiful hike!

My wife joined me on this one and it was her first time taking down a peak.

We got an AirBnB the night before so we could acclimate a bit and have a short drive to the trailhead the next day. This would be a MUCH longer day if we would have done the 2hr drive. Weather was great, trail was great, and only saw two other hikers the entire day along the Marion route.

It certainly is a challenging route. At times, you’d think you’re walking up literal flights of stairs. It’s tough, but always worth it. On the way back, going down those stairs can be punishing on the knees.
