Stairway to Woodson Heaven

I’m not a big fan of this trail, even though parts are pretty, it has some great views on summit, and plenty of walking surface variety; however, it’s always within eyeshot of houses, roads, and city.  Trail should be called “Mt. Woodson Journey of a Thousand Steps Staircase”????.  Was a beautiful hiking day; fairly temperate until heading back, then things warmed up quickly.  Lots of adults, dogs, and kids out and about. Predictable line at Potato Chip Rock for pics.  I hunted around for a USGS summit marker, but didn’t see any.  On to Peak #4!
