Steep option to Mt Baldy

Spectacular day on the trail! The mule’s ears, lupine, and other wildflowers were out in abundance. I also took the “short and steep” route from Marlene in Incline, and it was just over 2100’ of elevation gain (most of that was on the Marlene trail).  Parking was easy near the Marlene trailhead. Ran into a few TRT thru-hikers who were super friendly. A fun day!
