Still my favorite OG peak

I love this hike. This was my 3rd accent of San Bernardino Peak and definitely toughest go. The upper half of the trail had good patched of snow and ice i wasn’t really expecting. I had poles provided enough stability on the icy sections of the trail. I was expecting the hike to take me around 6hrs like my previous two visits. The 1st also had snow and ice on the upper sections of the trail but not as much. Since I didn’t bring my microspikes, I had to be extremely deliberate on the thicker patches of ice It took me over 9 hours to finish this time.
