Stormy Peak

We did this peak on a day the storm clouds were moving in rapidly.  As it turns out, the timing was perfect to complete the peak.  As we were leaving the Saddle for the peak, the rains clouds were bursting over South Loop.  We made it to the peak with no rain; however, we didn’t stay long, since we knew we needed to get back down before the clouds opened up, again.  I feel South Loop is a tough hike to the Saddle and Griffith Peak.  The decent is always welcomed.
