Straight Up the Cables

It was a very chilly start, but a quick 1200-foot elevation gain in a mile or less quickly got us warmed up. Then after going down a few hundred feet from the saddle, comes the super fun and gnarly ascent up the cables. This is decidedly not for the feint of heart, and you’ll want gloves so as not to get a blister. It’s hard to believe from down below that it’s possible to get to the top…..but it’s amazing once you get there!
