Great day for a hike up to Strawberry Peak. Left Red Box trailhead at 6:45am and arrived at the summit at 8:30am. Lots of wind gusting near the top made for my losing my hat more than once. Easy first 2 miles with the last 1.5 miles steep and challenging. Great views of downtown LA along with some beautiful wildflowers on the North facing slopes.
