Strawberry Peak

It was a super warm day.  I brought a friend and ensured she had all the necessary gear.  Unfortunately you can lead a horse to water, but not make her drink.  It didn’t matter how many times I reminded her to drink.  My friend suffered pretty severe dehydration.  In my opinion, this was still a successful trip. I was able to stay calm during the challenge and keep my friend safe, proving crisis management is a skill I possess. Everybody lived and learned.  I also stopped a three party group as we got down as only one of them was carrying water.
