Strawberry Short Cake

When I drive an hour for a hike I prefer to have it be 10 miles or more, but since I was here for my DOB last year I knew the distance and was fine with it. My 1st couple hike’s this year have been longer and required me to work hard so this was actually welcomed. Short, sweet and to the point. The weather was amazing, the bugs were 0 and know one on the trail, but me until the last push to the  summit passing 2 hikers. I love all the views along the route and on top. I appreciate the technical stuff because it makes me earn my hiking badge. Otherwise to me it’s a walk in nature… lol lol. I start early(6am), but late for me and being the fact I passed 40-50 hikers on the way down always validates an early start.
