Strenuous beginning…with great rewards ????

The hike was  beautiful, with leftover snow along the way. The first 2+ miles straight up with over 1100 ft of elevation gain were  pretty brutal, but definitely worth it ???? The views from the top were stunning. A glider plane was being towed and was released right when we reached the summit. The glider did a few near passes by us- quite an impressive sight. The trail in-between was full of forested areas with large redwoods, very beautiful hike!
