Strong winds, steep climb

Started the hike around 10 am, the wind was pretty strong and the air nice and cold. The trail was in very good condition, my friend and I occasionally slipped on the acorns and leaves on the ground but nothing serious. The hike starts off very easy and then transitions to a nice incline that gets your heart rate up. Overall this hike is one of my new favorite. The views are really cool and I liked that you transition from being under oak/juniper canopies to being in the middle of a beautiful meadow.
