We drove up the dusty road and started from the Maple Springs Trailhead/Main Divide Road junction. Easy fire road walking and the sun was not too hot in the morning and we had a nice breeze from time to time. Decided to bag Modjeska Peak on the way which was a nice detour to get off the boring fire road and also add a little extra challenge to the hike. We were done by 1pm and went and had lunch at the Silverado Cafe.
