Summer hiking

San Diego summer hiking is in full force. It was already very warm at our 8am start. Taking the Azalea Glen Loop up helps, as the path is beautiful and has shady places. The bugs were everywhere and very annoying but to make up for that so were the beautiful butterflies, caterpillars, bees, and flowers! We only saw a handful of people on the trail and no one at the top. It’s always one of our favorite hikes and it is so fun to see the landscape change throughout the year.
