We started at 8:50am and the parking lot was getting close to full. First couple of miles were nice and easy, a gradual incline. Then came the next 1.5 miles or so: up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down…you get it. Lots of rocks to climb over and a nice warm sun beating down on your back make for a tough climb. But, the views are wonderful and it’s only a 4+ hour hike. Tip: pack a lunch and some beer for a post-hike picnic while your feet take a break! 🙂
