Today’s hike up Black Butte was awesome! I took the lower trailhead at about 7:15 am. The parking lot already had 5 cars in it when I got there.  Despite the fact that I started fairly early, it was a busy day on the butte. I encountered many nice people along the way, especially on the upper trail. The sky was blue, and the temperature was perfect!  Overall, the hike took 4 hours, 26 minutes.  I had a good time and it was just what I needed!
