My friend and I arrived at the trailhead around 8 am and were surprised to find a number of cars already there. The trail itself was beautiful with gorgeous views and only moderately busy; it was a bit buggy near the summit but not terrible. We took a nice break on the lookout tower before heading back down, enjoying our snacks and the 360 degree view of Northern Arizona.
