It was a fairly hot May day when we hiked Santiago and Modjeska Peaks from the Maple Springs trailhead. The road to this route is rough and requires a high clearance vehicle. It was the first time I had hiked the peak from this trailhead. The plus side is that it isn’t an 18 mile hike like some of the other routes to the summit are. Will definitely hit both peaks via this trailhead again in the future.
