Sunny Storm King

It was a beautiful day for a hike! The trail is steep, with some high roots to step up and over, but the forest is lovely. Be super careful and watch your footing when going past the end of the maintained trail. The ropes section is no joke. Gloves were helpful. The views of Lake Crescent were spectacular! What an incredible shade of blue! Hungry dive-bombing birds at the top. There was an early morning report of a cougar on the trail, so just be mindful they are in the area.
