Sunrise Hike at Piestewa Peak

We wanted to catch the sunset at the peak so we started our hike at 6am. There was plenty of parking at this time but I’ve heard it gets pretty full on weekends. The first 30 minutes of our hike we did in the dark. The entire pathway has stairs that steadily incline to the top. There are railings in certain sections to assist you. Overall this hike felt more moderate than hard and sunrise was breathtaking at the peak!
