I’ve done this hike many times, but my daughter suggested we try for sunrise, and it was life changing!  What a beautiful change in light and weather!  So refreshing!  There was a growing crowd, but not too bad. Parking was fine. We used head lights for a small part of the start to track footing, otherwise it was just spectacular to watch the light move across the sky. We got to the top minutes before the sun rose from the distant mountains.  It was AMAZING!  I love hiking, but was really something extra special.
