Sunset at Bear Mountain

Quad burner! I started the trail around 5pm in order to be able to enjoy the sunset at the peak. It was chilly and windy at the top. But the sunset looked just like it does on the Arizona flag. Sunset was around 7:30pm on the evening that I decided to complete the hike. Finished the hike just before 10pm. I would not have been able to navigate down to my car without my headlamp. The stars were amazing and I saw my first ever tarantula.
