Surrounded by Butterflies

So many butterflies and wildflowers! Magical! Both became more abundant as I ascended the trail. I did this hike in 2018 and the burned area was pretty barren back then. Really fun to see the return of vegetation, including Manzanita, grasses, evergreens, and wildflowers. Only one small snow patch remains. Lovely mountain views at the top and welcomed the breeze coming down. A few scattered people, but not crowded at all.
