Swarms and Springs

Beautiful day for a hike! We passed Mt. Woodson on the way and it was covered in clouds, but it was beautiful and sunny in Warmer Springs! Most of the elevation happens in the first two miles, but after that you get shade and a gradual climb. As soon as you get in the trees, the bugs are a little annoying (mostly gnats). They are definitely manageable with a regular swat, but some mosquito netting probably wouldn’t hurt. View of Mt. San Jacinto, Palomar, and other surrounding mountains was beautiful!
