Sweet day

Really beautiful day. Rolling hills and fantastic views the entire time. While no clouds directly overhead, there were clouds visible over the LA basin. About halfway up there is a little flat area – someone placed a canister with strawberry peak written on it. Hmmm – obviously not the peak as you can still see at least 3 peaks you have to traverse ahead of you! Gorgeous cover in the beginning stages of the hike, but there is no shade the last few miles. Not a problem on a gorgeous chill spring day (temps in the 50’s), but I can see this being tough on a hot summer day.
