Switchback Galore aka Mount Baden-Powell

Mount Baden-Powell has been on my list for a while – it feels really good to have finally completed this hike.

The trail is very beautiful but steep for sure – it’s a solid 4 miles of continuous climbing at elevation. I recommend an early start and lots of fluids and electrolytes to feel good throughout the hike. We started at 5 am and finished at 11 am – it took us about 6 hours with breaks and peak time.

I highly recommend this hike – just make sure you have done some easier peaks before and you can manage climbing at altitude. We left a beautiful Summit Sign at the top – enjoy the trails. Happy Hiking!
