Switchbacks to Heaven

An important factor for this hike is finding a parking spot.  On a weekend it’s best to either arrive early morning or wait until midday when the first hikers are leaving and one of the limited spots opens up.

The route is a pleasant stroll and not too steep in any section due to the many switchbacks late in the ascent. The trail winds through numerous impressive Madrone groves and offers a rewarding view from the top.
