It started out a lovely 60 degrees in the morning at Mount Elden but became quite warm in the afternoon. We took our time on the ascent due to some tummy trouble from elevation – about 3 hours in total (with*many* breaks). Then we took a nice rest at the top and had some snacks before heading back down (at a much faster pace).
