Tam is My Jam

Growing up in Marin, I’ve explored Stinson and Tam quite a bit, but for some reason, I’d never hiked to the top! All of the trails I hit were firsts for me as well, and wow had I been missing a lot!

Started at the Dipsea Trailhead Parking Lot off Highway 1 at 6am (it still dark, so the headlamp was key). Took Dipsea > Steep Ravine > Old Stage Rd >  Old Railroad Grade Miller Trail > Old Railroad Grade to the East Peak.

On the way back down I went past the Mountain Theater, saw the Forbes Bench, and sort of meandered own the Coastal/Matt Davis Trail back to the car. Didn’t get back to the car until about 1:30…there’s so much to see up there ????.
