Baldy loop – up Ski Hut, down Backbone, Baldy West side quest.
Took the quick side quest to Baldy west this time after having summited Baldy many times but never Baldy West.
Pano shot is from Baldy West, with Baldy summit on the left side.
ANF management has gone full clown mode, closing the mountain for “dangerous conditions” because the forecast predicted minimal amount of snow (less than 0.5″) at the summit at night. What an absolute joke.
It was a beautiful day to ignore the this kind of stupidity, conditions were perfect.
