The 6th Peak – Black Mountain

There was so much satisfaction knowing that I was completing the challenge with this hike. It was very chilly when we started (55 degrees), but overall the weather was perfect. We did encounter some smoke from the Oakland Hills Keller Fire when we were about halfway up the mountain. We could see some of the other peaks when we got to the top, but the view was hazy from the smoke. We enjoyed a healthy snack before we headed back down.
