The views were awesome throughout and our motivator to finish were the views of Barona Casino where we’d wind down and have lunch after lol. The hike itself was a leg burner with very little flat sections. Consistently steep, rocky, washed inclines and declines the majority of the way up AND down. Bees were on trail but were not an annoyance. If allergic, I’d definitely plan for the bees. Start early! Take plenty of extra water, it’s a tough one.
