The drive was long but I met with a friend who lives in the area. We worked on outline of our film all the way to the top. It was a pretty straightforward hike to the top with very nice views along the way. The summit gives you a nice view of the surrounding San Luis Obispo area. This seems to be a popular hike for locals but it isn’t worth the drive all the way from LA.
