The final hike: Cucamonga

This was it. The final hike. At first, it was 40 degrees out and I didn’t prepare myself with a good jacket. As it got warmer, the weather was great. It was perfect. I kept my sweater on because of some chilly breeze. The Sun wasn’t killing us and I didn’t need to drink an awful lot of water. Coming down was fun. I broke off the slow group and followed the faster group down the mountain. We were so excited to go home. We made it all the way down to the parking lot in less than twos hours from the peak.
