Gorgeous 80 Degree (F) day to start the first of many mountains of this challenge. The sky was clear, the woods were calm and the climb was smooth. While technically not the highest peak in CT, Bear mountain is still a classic peak and fun hike.

I’m planning to hike all 11 peaks in the next two weeks, already off to a good start and I can’t wait for more!
