CJ and I were ready for a cold hike and it did not disappoint. Got to the trailhead at 6am with a chilly 38 degrees showing on our thermometer. The hike itself was quite but it was windy and cold at Icehouse Saddle. There was some snow on the ground with parts of the trail covered. What was amazing were the ice-covered trees and bushes. Quite a site to see!
