It was early, quiet, and peaceful out when I left to pick up my hiking crew. As I approached my car there was a hummingbird hovering above it, I looked and thought “what a beautiful send off, it seems like a sign.”
Little did I know, until we got to the summit of Mt Umunhum, that the name is Ohlone for “Resting Place of the Hummingbird“
woah.
Thinking about that at the top of this peak we all felt a bit in awe, connected, and grateful.
