The Journey Has Begun

Trail conditions were pristine aside from being difficult to get footing on some rock areas that were slick. Trail was busy due to the great weather and it being a weekend, but it didn’t take anything away from the hike. Low to mid 70s and a nice breeze with sunny skies really made the hike an enjoyable one. The last mile or so was a steep climb to the peak and requires frequent breaks, but the views and snacks at the top made it all worth it.
