The Mount Tallac adventure

This hike was interesting.
we were coming to the trailhead from hiking Freel peak earlier that day.
we knew we were going to be hiking in the dark so we brought all our headlamps, flashlights and cell phone lights and headed up the shortest way we could find, but it was also the steepest. We made it to the top right before sunset, (8 something) but didn’t make it back down to the car until 11 at night. The trail was hard to follow because the AllTrails route seems to be following an old trail.
