This trail is steep. We took it clockwise rather than counter. That is the better way. Clockwise seems steeper but going up counter-clockwise means 5 something miles of fire road. No me gusta that. The elevation gain hurt me. My feet won’t stop being whiners.

That being said I loved this hike. I love this mountain. The view is spectacular. Best view so far. It’s between this and Mt. Tam.
