Not for beginners the route is hard and gets sketchy! All trails could not connect the path from putridge peak to defiance , the ridge line has no path. So be careful and do not attempt if this is your first hike!
Why we did it – We took the challenging scrambler route in order to clock the loop in less than 5 hours.First trail diversion we started steep steady ascent to Putrid pete’s peak, then towards right via ridge line to Mt. Definace uff! breath taking views of the lakes! We spent half an hour and started descending towards mason lake and then to TH!
