The one we kept putting off

We kept putting off this hike, because it was a drive, but glad we did it before it started getting really hot. There was a 30-40 detour to the trailhead, due to some running event. Aside from that, there was plenty of parking (got there around 8:30 am), and not many people on the trail going up. We started our descent around 10:00, and that’s when it started getting busy with people going up.
