I thought this would be a very easy stroll along a peaceful path through a beautiful pine forest but while it had no technical demands whatsoever it was a grinder for sure. The first 1.5 miles were a nice walk and then it gets progressively harder for an old guy like me. I will be going back to explore the lava field for sure..
