The Shrubs & Brush Came Alive!

We normally do this hike in the Spring or early Summer, but here we are on the last day of November! It was warm, in the low- to mid-70s. Sunny most of the way, with a few breaks here and there in the shade. We read reports of some of the trail being overgrown, and that we should wear long pants and sleeves… no kidding! The majority of the hike was ok, but from the middle of the hike, to especially the last push to the summit… it was VERY overgrown. We left with lots of scratches and some bloody patches! Overall the day was beautiful, views of everywhere from the summit… just gorgeous!
